Quilted Crow Gatherings

Twice a year we host a “Gathering” here at Crow Central, a day full of stitching, friendships, great food & just plain good 'ol fun!

We previously used to hold these Gatherings in a charming old hall in Campania, 20 minutes from Hobart but now that we have this wonderful building and all this space, why wouldn't we have it here!

We generally have about 45 ladies at each one - we had to reduce the number of people so we could hold the Gathering here in our beautiful new nest but it is worth it - we have ladies who come from interstate and make a weekend of it - getting a quick couple of hours in at the famous Salamanca Market before the day starts!  Everyone enjoys a day of hand stitching, making new friendships and sharing in much laughter!  They may not get a lot of stitching done, but they sure have a great time, also getting in a bit of retail therapy!   In the past we have had designers such as Rosalie Quinlan, Leanne Beasley, Helen Stubbings, Lynette Anderson, Kerry Gillespie, Anni Downs, Natalie Bird, Natalie Ross, Sue Daley, Simone Gooding & Natalie Lymer.

Our most recent Gathering was held earlier in March 2012 and our next one is November 2012, with our guest designer being Lynette Anderson of Lynette Anderson Designs - fully booked - sorry!  

The cost for one day's attendance is $110.  For this you receive a goody bag with patterns designed exclusively for the day, a thank you gift from ourselves as well as some other little goodies, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  There are also lucky door prizes, drawn throughout the day. 

A Gathering in June - 2013

The date for our Gathering here at Crow Central in 2013 will be held on Saturday 22nd June with our guest designer being Sue Daley of Patchwork with Busyfingers - the paper piecing and needleturn applique queen!  Bookings are now open - email us at thequiltedcrow@dodo.com.au to book or phone on (03) 6228 3319.
