Welcome to The Quilted Crow
Christmas trading - Closed from Monday 22nd December and re-opening Tuesday 6th January 2015 at 10am.
Owners, Leonie Bateman and Deirdre Bond-Abel, welcome you to their 'nest', a beautiful old sandstone church, built in 1865.
Affectionately known as 'The Quilted Crow Girls', Leonie and Deirdre have been designing for many years under their design name 'Quilted Crow Girls Designs'. Specialising in wool applique, their pattern range is extensive, with well over 50 designs to choose from. They are the co-authors of the best selling book by Martingale, "Elegant Quilts, Country Charm" and their most recent title, "Country Elegance" which was released in September 2014.
Their debut fabric range, "Pomegranate Lane" and wool collection, "The Seasons", both with Marcus Fabrics, a New York based company, has recently been released, along with their Block of the Month, "The Seasons on Pomegranate Lane", using both fabric and wool ranges.
Both 'Crows' travel domestically and internationally teaching their unique style of wool applique and they love nothing more than seeing people become addicted to this beautiful medium. Inside the pages of 'The Quilted Crow' you are bound to find something that will tempt you, whether it be a large quilt or a small table runner, there is something for everyone.
